My Recent Stay at Il Colombaio Winery & Rooms was truly enchanting. The rustic charm of this working farm surrounded by olive trees and vineyards is a testament to the rich local history and traditions that have been meticulously preserved since 1897. The warm welcome drink set the tone for a delightful experience.Exploring the property, we marveled at the lush 15 hectares of vineyards and the fragrant olive groves that envelop Fattoria Il Colombaio. The wine cellar tour and tasting were a highlight, allowing us to savor the farm's own exquisite Chianti wine and olive oil. The farm-to-table dining experience was exceptional, showcasing the fine quality of the products grown on site.Our comfortable room, adorned with rustic-style furnishings and modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and minibar, provided a cozy retreat. The private outdoor area was a lovely spot to unwind, offering a serene view of the Tuscan countryside. The inviting outdoor pool and barbecue area added to the charm of the property. The friendly staff ensured our stay was seamless, offering free use of bicycles to explore the picturesque surroundings.
